Xiaomi Launches 'Make In India' Redmi Note Prime At Rs 8,499; Available On Amazon, Mi Store | News World India

Chinese tech-giant Xiaomi on Monday launched its latest variant of Redmi Note named as Note Prime in India at Rs 8,499. It will be the second ‘Make in India’ project of the company.

The first flash sale will begin from 10 am on Xiaomi’s digital store, mi.com and shopping site Amazon.in on December 15, 2015.

The phone will be manufactured at Foxconn’s Sri City factory in Andhra Pradesh.

Specifications:

The Note Prime is the enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G dual-SIM phablet. The phone comes with a 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory, is supported by Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor.

The Note Prime has a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen with 1280 X 720 resolution, supported by 267 PPI pixel density. Loaded with a 3100mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery, it carries a 13MP main shutter with f/2.4 aperture lens. Front shutter carries a 5MP f/2.2 camera.

While launching the product, Manu Jain, Xiaomi’s Indian Product Head, told media that the company is glad to provide the Mi Fans an opportunity to upgrade to a more powerful smartphone.
