A student of the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland was dismissed from the school after a controversial video, which depicts the senior student using racist remarks against the black people, went viral online.
In his defence, the student said that he was unaware that he was being recorded and that his words were taken out of context, nbc news reported.
The father of the student said that he was mimicking language from the 2012 movie ‘Django Unchained’, in which a slave seeks to free his wife from a white plantation owner.
Though the Bullis School dismissed the student, he has the right to appeal for reinstatement.
