Pixar has come up with a new short film called Sanjay’s Super Team, which is about an Indian family trying to fit in 80s America. The short film features an Indian-American boy who is tattered between loving Western pop culture and his father’s traditional values. However, the kid is not interested in his father’s traditions and prefers to create a team of superheroes with all the Hindu gods.
This is the first Pixar film to be helmed by an Indian-American director, Sanjay Patel. The film is inspired by director’s own childhood experiences.
