Delhi Police have inducted 30 new dogs into its dog squad. The induction was performed on Monday.Of the 30 dogs inducted, 20 are tracker dogs and 10 are explosive experts-Taj Hasan,Special CP(crime), Delhi Police told reporters.

The induction has taken place over five years after the last such draft before Commonwealth Games in 2010.

The induction will take the strength of the squad to 60.

Each dog in the latest induction cost the department around Rs 1.60 lakh.
