Since 19 years, Benudhar Sahu is working as a traffic policeman at the busiest intersection of the city of Bhubaneswar. Fondly referred as the Billy Bowden of the traffic pitch, he is the most popular traffic cop of the city. His swift arm movements and non-stop whistling can bring even the busiest traffic line to a complete standstill.
He works for 365 days a year without any complain and what he gets in return is merely an amount of Rs 6,600 per month. He supports a family of 6 people, including two daughters and a son.
