28 September 2002, the day that completely changed the life of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will always be remembered as a black day by his family and fans.

The trial court had found him guilty of ramming the American Express bakery in suburban Bandra with his Toyota Land Cruiser in September 28, 2002, killing one person and wounding four others sleeping on the pavement outside.

But not all of us know that a day before the accident took place, Salman’s former girlfriend Aishwarya Rai opened up about her bitter relationship with Khan and accused him of hitting her.

In an exclusive interview with The Times Of India in September 2002 Aishwarya accused Salman of physically abusing her.

We all know that Salman was going through a bad phase in his personal life. His love affair with actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai was on rocks.

But destiny had stored something else for Salman, as just a day before the infamus 2002 hit-and-run-case, Aish accused Salman of physically abusing her.

In an exclusive interview with The Times Of India on September 2002, Rai said ‘there were times when Salman got physical with me, luckily without leaving any marks, and I would go to work as if nothing had happened.’ In a series of accusations Aishwarya revealed that she walked out of her relationship with Salman.

Just a day before the infamus 2002 hit-and-run-case, Aish accused Salman of physically abusing her.

Aish also claimed that he had not been able to come to terms with their break-up and was harassing her.

On previous occasion also Khan allegedly smashed a bottle of cold drink on his then girlfriend Somy Ali’s head while the pair was out with friends.
