Micro-blogging website Twitter recently paid a bounty of $10,080 (Rs. 6,70,000 approximately) to an Indian hacker for identifying security fault in its video-sharing service- Vine.
Micro-blogging website Twitter recently paid a bounty of $10,080 (Rs. 6,70,000 approximately) to an Indian hacker for identifying security fault in its video-sharing service- Vine.
According to reports, Avinash Singh, who goes by the name of ‘avicoder’, uncovered a loophole in Twitter’s video-sharing service that allowed him to to access thr cache of the code online easily.
Singh was able to download a Docker image containing complete source-code of Vine as he searched for vulnerabilities.
He reported the loophole to Twitter in March, follwoing which the micro-blogging site awarded him the grand prize of $10,080.
