Director Kabir Khan said there was tussle between him and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan when they working on their first project ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ but they had a great time during their second film.

Kabir and Salman worked together for the first time on ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, a 2012 spy thriller which went on to become a blockbuster. Both have again teamed up for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘, which will hit theatres during Eid next month.

“There was clash between Salman and me while we were working on ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. There was tussle between us and I feel it’s OK to have such things. As we were working for the first tíme together, there was debate over how to work out things. Without such involvement, an actor would become brain dead,” Kabir told reporters here at a promotional event of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

“This was the second tíme (in ‘Bajrangi…’) we were working together so there was mutual understanding. We had great fun…the journey was positive and it shows on screen,” he said.

There had been reports that Salman and Kabir may come together for a third film. Asked about these reports, the 44-year-old director said its too early to say anything. Asked if it is justified for the Khans to monopolise festival dates for their movies, he said, “It is not a monopoly. If the film is ready…then they can release it whenever they want. It’s OK to release big films during holiday period as more people come to see it.”
