Jets bombed Turkey’s presidential palace in Ankara today as an army faction attempted to bring down the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Plumes of black smoke were seen rising over the Bestepe district where the palace is located, NTV television reported.

According to reports, Istanbul airport under control of soldiers loyal to government.

Also, Turkish air forces down military helicopter used by parallel state to bomb TURKSAT satellite agency, Turkey Media reported.

Meanwhile, Turkish President Erdorgan has urged his supporters to remain in public squares until situation returns to normal.
