Toyota Motor India has reportedly reduced the price of its popular hybrid sedan – Camry Hybrid in Delhi by Rs 2.30 lakh.
The massive drop comes after Delhi government recently reduced the excise duty on hybrid cars by almost 50% from the existing 24% to 12.5%.
This means that the Camry Hybrid will now be retailed at 30.90 lakh, instead of its initial price of 33.20 lakh (Both ex-showroom, Delhi).
Earlier country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India also slashed prices of the Ciaz SHVS and Ertiga SHVS models by Rs 69,000 and Rs 62,000 respectively.
