DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin who functioned as the floor leader of the DMK in the absence of Karunanidhi in the last session will now lead the party in the Assembly as the leader of the opposition.
Stalin will lead a strong team of 89 members, the highest in an opposition party in the history of Tamil Nadu Assembly.
On the other hand, DMK principal secretary K. Duraimurugan will provide support as the deputy leader of the opposition.
