Sri Lankan crickter Kaushal Silva, who was hospitalized on Sunday after getting struck on the head during a practice match at Pallekele cricket stadium, could be soon discharged from the hospital.
The 29-year-old crickter was airlifted to a Colombo hospital on Sunday, where the initial scan ruled him out of danger.
“Kaushal Silva transferred out of ICU and will be discharged tomorrow pending results of follow up medical examinations,” Sri Lanka Cricket wrote in a tweet.
Silva made his debut in the 2001-02 season. He has played 24 test matches for Sri Lanka and scored 1,404 runs at an average of 31.
