Six Indian Films At Cannes 2016 | NWI

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival which is known for attracting independent cinema heavy hitters and huge glamour wattage is featuring six entries from the Indian cinema in its 69th edition. Here is the list

It shows the glorious days of India’s traveling tent cinemas.

Directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta, it is a tale of an ageing Kolkata.

The film narrates the story of a serial killer, who went on a murder spree in Mumbai in the 1960s.

Dirceted by student Saurav Rai, the film is reported to be a recollection of his childhood.

Baahubali

A documentary featuring the Maitreya Buddha lineage.
