Siwan Journalist Murder Case: Key accused Laddan Miyan, A Close Aide Of Shahabuddin, Surrenders In | NWI

Laddan Miyan, a close aide of the former RJD member Shahabuddin Court on Thursday sent to 14-day judicial custody after he surrendered before the court in connection with the Siwan Journalist Rajdeo Ranjan murder case.

Laddan Miyan is contract killer who had been released from jail 15 days before Ranjan’s murder.

Rajdev Ranjan, a senior journalist at a Hindi daily, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on May 14.

The killing had drawn country-wide criticism for Nitish Kumar government as a reflection of the slide in law and order situation in the state, following which a CBI probe was ordered.

According to reports, five persons have already been arrested in the case till now. Laddan Miyan is the main accussed in the case.
