In another incident of medical negligence in Delhi, doctors recently operated patient’s left leg instead of his injured right leg.
The incident occurred at the renowned Fortis Hospital, situated in the Shalimar Bagh area and the victim has been identified as Ravi Rai.
Alleging medical negligence, Ravi’s family had registered a complaint with the Delhi Police.
The family told the Police that incident occurred after Ravi fell down from the stairs and fractured his right leg.
His family rushed him to Fortis Hospital. The doctors there suggested immediate surgery for the leg.
On the doctor’s advice, Ravi agreed for the surgery but surprisingly, doctors operated his left leg which was perfectly fine.
