Earlier on Saturday, a CBI special court adjourned the hearing on Peter Mukherjea’s plea that sought the statement of witness number 32 till July 20.

CBI in its supplementary chargesheet filed in February had submitted statement of an unnamed witness in a sealed cover.

Also, Indrani Mukherjea’s driver Shyam Rai, the accused who turned an approver in the sensational case last month, had revealed that while he covered Sheena’s mouth, it was Indrani who strangulated her.
Narrating the entire series of events, Rai had also revealed that Indrani’s ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna too helped her. Rai also confessed that Khanna held her limbs and hair tightly, while Indrani strangulated her.
