Sheena Bora Case: Mumbai Court Extends CBI Custody Of Peter Mukerjea Till Nov 26 | News World India

Mumbai court on Monday extended Former media executive Peter Mukerjea’s CBI custody till November 26.

Peter is accused accused of killing her wife Indrani’s Mukerjea’s first daughter from another husband, Sheena Bora.

CBI while demanding extension of Peter’s Custody told a local court that financial transactions appear to be the motive of the murder and that it has established Peter’s involvement in the larger conspiracy.

Peter Mukerjea was on Thursday by CBI in Mumbai. He is accused of of attempted murder, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy by the CBI, which took over the investigation into Sheena Bora’s murder from the Mumbai police in September.

Peter Mukerjea was booked under sections 302, 120 B, 306, 201, and 363 of the IPC in the FIR. He faces the same charges as his wife Indrani Mukerjea, who was arrested in August, days after the remains of Sheena Bora – her daughter – were found in a forest 80 km from Mumbai.
