Director Gauri Shinde’s next, starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, will begin filming in January next year.
The movie is in its pre-production stage, revealed its co-producer Karan Johar.

Alia, 22, re-tweeted Johar’s tweet. The yet-untitled movie is being produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, Johar’s Dharma and Hope Productions.
Shinde, who is married to director R Balki, shot to fame with her debut 2012 movie “English Vinglish”, starring Sridevi.

Shinde said a few months ago that the upcoming film will not have “typical romance”.
While, Shah Rukh and Alia are yet to begin shooting for the film, both the actors have big films in their kitty as of now.
Shah Rukh, who has films like “Dilwale”, slated to release on December 18, “Raees” and “Fan”.
Alia, on the other hand, who was last seen on the silver screen in “Shaandaar”, will be soon feature in “Udta Punjab” and “Kapoor and Sons”.
