The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the publication of the photos of governor, chief minister and the ministers of the department concerned in government advertisements.
The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) by advocate M.L. Sharma challenging Centre’s decision to impose President’s rule in Uttrakahand.
The apex court also dismissed plea seeking CBI probe into the alleged horse trading of MLAs in the state.
SC asked Sharma how he was affected by the President’s rule in the state while warning him that his credibility was at stake if he continued filing such PILs.
The crisis in the state erupted on March 18, when nine Congress MLAs joined hands with the opposition Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and met Governor KK Paul seeking dismissal of Rawat-led government and staked claim to form government in the state.
