Saudi Actor Arrested For Taking Selfies With Female Fans | News World India

His crime is he is ‘too handsome’! This phrase fits best for Abdul Aziz al-Kassar, a famous TV actor. He has been arrested for creating fan girls frenzy. The actor was mobbed by the women who wanted to take pictures with him in a shopping mall in Riyadh.

The actor, who lives in Kuwait, had arrived in Saudi Arabia for work. According to reports, the actor asked his fans to suggest the best mall to visit on Snapchat before visiting Saudi. They recommended ‘Al Nakheel’ and as soon as the actor reached the mall, his female fans went fanatical and mobbed him for selfies.
In an interview with Gulf Rotana, Kassar said, “I did not expect to find so many people waiting for me. I want to clarify that the presence of young women at the mall was not something under my control. When I stepped in, several fans came over and surrounded me until someone came over and pulled me aside into a room that I learned was reserved for the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice inside the mall.”He further added “I understood that the man who pulled me was a member of the commission and I did not resist him out of my respect for the Commission.”

However, this is not something bizarre for people in Saudi. Do you remember Omar Borkan Al Gala, who was kicked out of the country for being ‘too handsome’ and officials at a cultural festival “feared female visitors could fall for them.’
