Punjabi by birth, he was brought up in India’s Pink City, Jaipur, which might have shaped his Bollywoodesque nonchalance. After finishing his engineering, he was working with Air France. But the French could not take his nuanced wit or he could not make head or tails about the snails in burnt garlic sauce. Quickly, he forayed into the world of journalism – a journey which has taken him from freelance work with reputed newspapers to the Press Trust of India before landing in the digital space. A juggler of words, his voracious reading habit has till now deprived him from the sensual pleasures of life. Or so he claims! But times, they are a changin’.
