Right Before 'Dilwale' Release, SRK Apologises For 'Intolerance' Remark | News World India

Right before the release of ‘Dilwale’, actor Shah Rukh Khan apologised for his intolerance remark during a special show of a Hindi news channel on Wednesday.

The actor said that he apologises for the statement “if it hurts anybody’s sentiments.”

“I never faced intolerance in India…… never said anything like that. Few people will allege that the statement comes amid the countdown to release of my latest flick but this is not the case,” the Bollywood said.

“India is tolerant, everything is fine in India.”

On his 50th birthday, the king of Bollywood has said that there is “extreme intolerance in India”.

“Religious intolerance and not being secular… is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot,” he has earlier said.
