Restrictions were imposed in Handwara and parts of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district after fresh protests erupted on Monday morning.
Around 150 youth started pelting stones after restrictions were relaxed for three hours between 8am to 11am, prompting authorities to reimpose curfew-like restrictions in Handwara, Kralgund and Trehgam areas of north Kashmir.
Meanwhile, mobile services internet services, which were snapped in the valley following protests over alleged molestation of a girl by an Army personnel, were restored on Sunday night as no major incident of violence was reported.
