Renowned Qawwali singer Amjad Sabri was shot dead on Wednesday by unidentified assailants.
According to reports, Sabri and an associate were in the car when the gunmen opened fire, critically injuring him.
The incident occurred in the Liaquatabad area of Karachi and Amjad brought dead at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, claims report.
Member of the famous Sabri brothers family, Amjad was born on 23 December 1976 in Karachi. He was the new member of the Sabri group.
