A few days back, veteran singer Sonu Nigam’s mid-air concert video shot inside the airline had gone viral. While travelling from Jodhpur to Mumbai on January 04, on the request of passengers the singer performed two songs ‘Do pal ruka’ from Veer Zaara and ‘Panchhi nadiya’ from Refugee.
While the crew and passengers overjoyed this journey, authorities took serious action against the airlines.

According to reports published in ‘The Times Of India’, the aviation safety regulator — Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) — has pulled up the flight crew for providing in-flight announcement system to a passenger.
The air hostesses on board gave flight announcement equipment to the singer, which is prohibited. The passengers used their cell phones to click pictures and record videos, which is also prohibited inside the plane. Consequently, DGCA authorities asked the airline to suspend the air hostesses on board.
DGCA issued the statement to substantiate its action, “All cabin crew on the flight have been taken off flight duty for enquiry and corrective training to reinforce strict adherence to operating procedures.”
Nigam told to ANI, “This act of lack of common sense, according to me, is the real intolerance.”
