President Mukherjee Hosts Lunch With Women Achievers Featured On News World India | News World India

News World India’s special programme ‘Ab Ke Baras Mohe Bitiya Hi Dijo’ has set another milestone in Indian television. On Friday, 25 women achievers whose stories were showcased in News World India’s special programme ‘Ab Ke Baras Mohe Bitiya He Dijo’ will get the honour to meet and have lunch with the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee.

Ab Ke Baras Mohe Bitiya Hi Dijo

The president will host a lunch for 100 women achievers on Friday at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of first anniversary of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ scheme.

These 100 women achievers were selected by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with Facebook through a nationwide contest and public nominations.

The show which began on the Independence Day 2015 has featured the stories of over 100 such women of our societies who fought against the odds to write their inspiring success stories.

The team of News World India met these women and presented their inspiring story to the audience which is now getting the best ever reward from the Government of India.

These 100 women achievers have now got invitations to witness the R-Day parade in New Delhi via special entry passes issued by the Centre.

The show ‘Ab Ke Baras Mohe Bitiya Hi Dijo’ is being produced and anchored by Dr Meena Sharma and is supported by the Ministry of Women and Child Development under the leadership of Maneka Gandhi.
