Singh was discharged from a private hospital in Kandivali on Saturday after being there for nearly two weeks.
He was admitted to Sri Sai Hospital on April 3 following complaints of chest pain and depression.
Dr. Santosh Goel, who runs the hospital in Kandivali said that he was much better now.
Meanwhile, Singh had locked himself in the bathroom of the hospital on Friday night and threatened to jump off the hospital building where he was undergoing treatment, sources told the Hindustan Times.
However, he emerged from the bathroom minutes after the doctors talked to him.
Singh, who has been booked for abetting Banerjee’s suicide, was granted interim protection from arrest till April 18 by the Bombay High Court. However, he is required to appear before the police for two hours every day till his relief relapses.
