Pakistan on Monday dismissed the evidence provided by India into the Pathankot terror attacks case and said that they do not have enough proof to establish the role of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar into the deadly Indian Air Force Base attack.
According to media reports, Pakistan NSA Lt-Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua conveyed the report to his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval recently during a brief telephonic conversation.
Reports added that India is yet to respond to the latest developments.
India has maintained that six terrorists who attacked Pathankot airbase was of Pakistani origin sent by Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar.
Earlier India has also submitted enough evidence including including call records, which reveal the hand of JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar in the Pathankot terror attacks, a claim which Pakistan now completely discards.
