Paris: Fugitive Terrorist Seen Trawling Gay Bars Days Before Attacks | News World India

Salah Abdeslam, a fugitive terrorist on the run after the Paris massacre trawled a series of gay bars in Brussels just days before the attacks.

Abdeslam, 26, is being hunted by special forces over the co-ordinated atrocities. According to reports, he was a regular visitor to the city’s vibrant gay village.

Security services are scouring hours of CCTV footage taken from bars in central Brussels, in an area known as “Jacques Quarter”.

Counter-terror agents have been questioned bar owners after the extremist was spotted on a number of occasions at the end of October in the city’s vibrant homosexual quarter.

Officers are working to determine if he was scoping a target for an attack or was there to steal identification documents.

“In these crowded bars people feel open and relaxed – stealing wallets would not be a difficult thing to do.” the report quoted a source as saying. “A lot of ID cards and driving licences were stolen over the period he was there, but it may have been he wanted to launch a terror attack.”
