Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi Mi 5’s specifications has been leaked again on an e-commerce site before its launch.
Oppomart, a China based e-retailer, listed the smartphone by mistake on Sunday.
The Xiaomi Mi 5, according to the listing, will have a 5.5-inch screen with 1440x2560p resolution. The phone will also have a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. However, the impressive thing is Qualcomm Snadragon 820 chipset.
The Snapdragon 820 chipset was launched in the last week of November and it will be first-time used in the Mi 5 flagship smartphone.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset will be cloaked at 2.5GHz and coupled with a 4GB RAM. However, the inbuilt memory will be fixed. The phone will be available in three memory options: 16 GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Apart from the processor, what impressed us it the camera of the phone. According to the listing, it has a 20MP main shutter while the front camera will have a 8MP camera.
The 4G phone will run on Android lollipop based on MIUI skin. The powerful 3,800mAh battery will give a good talk-time.
But, when it comes to the money factor, it slightly disappoints us with 400 USD price tag. However, Oppomart is quite famous for its suspicious listing of the products. Last time, the online site listed Mi 4 at 499 USD. After launch, the same phone was priced at around Rs 14000 in India.
So, in reality we cannot rely on the information received from the Chinese online site.
The previous reports have suggested that the phone will be priced around Rs 20,000 in India and come with an infrared technology-based fingerprint scanner and likely to hit market before February.
