OnePlus 2 is smaller than the OnePlus One we’ve managed to pack almost 10% more juice: the OnePlus 2 will have a whooping 3300mAh battery.
In a traditional OnePlus style, once again, OnePlus executives — Emmanuel, Michael, Carl Pei and David interacted with fans to explain their second flagship smartphone which is scheduled to be unveiled on July 27. The executives took to Reddit Ask Me Almost Anything (AMAA) to discuss the world’s first ever VR launch.
One of the executives who participated in Reddit AMAA, Michael wrote, “Like we’ve said before, we’re looking to keep it clean, close to stock with some added customization options and a few of our own little tweaks. It’s quite barebones for now, but I’ve been happy with the performance. Honestly, really a lot of good stuff, and a lot of thinking (and heated debating – one of the really sweet things about this company is that you actually do get to have an opinion and argue for it) has gone into it.”
One of the co-founders of the company, David posted an image to show the compactness of OnePlus 2.

David said, “Although the OnePlus 2 is smaller than the OnePlus One we’ve managed to pack almost 10% more juice: the OnePlus 2 will have a whooping 3300mAh battery. Camera-wise, we have a bunch of things that we believe will set the OnePlus 2 apart, but we’ll leave the details for the launch.”
The smartphone will run on OxygenOS with many new features.
The next killer device from the OnePlus may feature a fingerprint sensor, much-talked USB Type-C port, Qualcomm Snapgradon 801SOC, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and likely to available under USD 450 which is below Rs 25,000 in India.
