Three days after the Delhi government implemented the second phase of its even-odd car initiative, the scheme faced the litmus test as the schools and offices reopened on Monday.
“Today is the litmus test for odd-even scheme. And just like our last time attempt to make it a success, we have to co-operate with each other,” Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai tweeted.

Over 1,300 challans were issued on the first day of the implementation of the second phase of the car-rationing initiative, which began on April 15 as a measure to check the rising pollution in the national capital.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also congrtaulated the citizens for making the scheme successful.
