n AmritsarThe nursing and paramedical staff of the Amritsar civil hospital on Monday staged protest against Kapil Sharma for portraying the nursing profession in a derogatory manner on his new show “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
The protesting nurses and other staff, including doctors, have strongly objected to the uniform being worn by actress Rochelle Rao, who plays the role of a nurse on the show.
According to reports, protesting nurses even burnt Kapil Sharma’s effigy and also filed a police complaint against him for depicting them in a vulgar way on his show.
“The Kapil Sharma Show” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9pm on Sony TV.
