JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, whose son Rocky Yadav had allegedly shot dead 20-year old Aditya Sachdeva on Saturday night, on Monday said that her son was innocent and had been falsely implicated in the case.
Rocky’s father Bindi Yadav and his bodyguard are arrested and sent to 14 days judicial custody.
Aditya Kumar Sachdeva was shot dead allegedly by Rocky Kumar Yadav following a scuffle over the youngster and his friends overtaking their Range Rover SUV near the police lines in Gaya around 8 pm on Saturday.
Sachdeva had gone to to Bodh Gaya to celebrate his birthday and had recently taken the Class 12 examinations.
Rocky is still absconding while his history sheeter father Bindeshwari Prasad Yadav alias Bindi Yadav, known in the area for his muscle and money power, and the legislator’s bodyguard have been arrested for allegedly helping the culprit escape.
Yadav told the media that while the other people were fdrunk and trying to scuffle with his son, Rocky used his licensed pistol in self-defence. All this happened by mistake.
While Rocky is yet to find, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given a day-long shutdown call on Monday in Gaya.
