There are amazing Bollywood movies that you should never miss watching it with your kids. Those films are to inspire and open your kid’s imagination. On the eve of Children’s Day we’ve compiled some of the best flicks to have a fun movie marathon!

Amole Gupte’s ‘Stanley K a Dabba’ is one of the finest and emotional films which every parent should watch with their kids. It is a story about a young boy, friends and school teacher who does not allow kids to enter if they don’t bring their Tiffin box.

‘Mr. India’ is one such film that has a mix of adventure and emotion. The film is about a man who can go invisible and saves his orphaned kids from a villain.  The villain of this film ‘Mogambo’ is quite famous.

One of the best films of 90’s which makes you nostalgic and you love to watch it again and again. Mani Ratnam’s heartbreaking drama ‘Anjali’ will make you emotional. Film revolves around a girl who is mentally ill and how the family and society accepts her.

‘I am Kalam’ is a well-appreciated film. It is a tale of a poor boy who takes president Kalam’s speech and urge to seek education. It is a film in which we learn to work hard so that we can achieve what we want.

India’s first 3D film Chota Chetan’s box office collection was around 50 crore in 1998. The story is about a boy and a girl who rescue chetan from the hand of black magicians. Chetan himself is a magician and is friendly to kids.

‘Taare Zameen Par’ takes you to the world of children. Amazing performance by Darsheel Safari gives you tear. It is a must watch movie which reflects that you should never pressurize you kids for academics. Be a helping hand and encourage them.

‘ Makdee’  is a blend of reality and  fantasy movie directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie revolves around a girl who enters the haunted house. It is said that whoever enters the haunted house comes out as an animal. The film holds the importance of siblings love and bonding.

Another amazing children film by Amole Gupte is ‘Hawaa hawaai’. The film is about a poor boy whose dream is to skate and his dream gets fulfilled with the help of a teacher.

‘Blue Umbrella’ is a film based on Ruskin Bond’s novel with the same title. The Film takes you to the innocent world of kids. The tale is about a girl who owns a blue umbrella which gets stolen and she gets in search of the thief.

‘Bhoothnath’ is a film about an angel and his relation with a small boy who shifts to a house where that angel or we can say the ghost lived. Amitabh Bachchans performance as a ghost is quite impressive.

‘Tahaan’ is a story of a boy who lives in Kashmir and his father is missing. His close friend is a donkey. It is a story about unconditional love.
