MM Khan murder case: LG Is BJPs Agent And He Must Resign, Says AAP | NWI

Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday attacked Delhi LG Najeeb Jung in the murder of NDMC official M.M. Khan saying that he is a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) agent and that he must resign.

AAP leaders also lodged a protest into why the LG was not taking any action in the murder of NDMC official M.M. Khan and demanded an investigation into the matter.

“There should be an investigation into why LG Najeeb Jung was so interested in NDMC lawyer murder case,” AAP said in a statement to the media.

Earlier on Wednesday, AAP leaders wrote to LG Najeeb jung demanding that he and ACB chief M K Meena be made “co-accused” in four cases pertaining to alleged scams during the Sheila Dikshit government including one that is related to prices of natural gas from the KG basin.

12 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs went to Raj Niwas, the LG’s residence, around 11.30 AM on June 22 with the demands. They letter claimed that Jung “refused” to meet them, but the LG Secretariat said Jung’s schedule was already prepared for the day and procedures have to be followed for seeking an appointment.

After AAP’s press conference, BJP’s Karan Singh Tanwar reacted saying:

Kejriwal ko kisi hospital mein bharti hokar apna maansik ilaaj karana chahiye, nahi toh ye aadmi Dilli ko dubo dega: Karan Singh Tanwar,BJP

The development came after Delhi’s Anti-Corruption Branch Chief Meena said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may also be quizzed apart from Dikshit in the tanker scam case after an FIR was lodged, leaving the AAP and Kejriwal bristling with anger.
