Mercedes-Benz India has launched the much-awaited facelifted version of its hatchback A-class on Tuesday in India.
This has marked the 15th and the final launch by the German carmaker in 2015. The company has priced the car at Rs 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the petrol variant (A 180 Sport) and Rs 25.95 lakh for the diesel model (A 200d Sport) (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The refreshed A-class has been launched at a event in Mumbai and it was first displayed during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new changes in the design to include:
* New stylish headlamps along with optional LED DRLs
* An updated taillamp to match the sporty look
* ORVMs have been blacked out
* New 5-spoke alloy wheels
* 8.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system
* Upgraded materials with new colours for the dashboard
The all-new Mercedes-Benz A-Class is expected to remain unchanged and continue featuring the same 1.6-litre petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine coupled to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
