Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has launched its new model GLC in India on Thursday.
The GLC is luxury compact SUV and it will be competing against the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 in the market. The prices for the luxury compact SUV, which will replace the GLK model in the international markets, start at Rs 50.7 lakh.
The GLC will be powered by a set of 2-litre petrol and diesel engines capable of putting out 245bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque and 170 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque, respectively.
Both the engines are mated to a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
The petrol variant is called the GLC 300 while the diesel is called GLC 220d.
