At least four Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers were killed in the post poll clash between TMC and Congress workers in West Bengal’s Malda, while three others were injured.

At least four Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers were killed in the post poll clash between TMC and Congress workers in West Bengal’s Malda, while three others were injured.

According to TMC workers, apparently Congress leaders attacked them with bombs which led to death of four TMC leaders.

However, Congress has rejected the allegations.

On Saturday, over 81 per cent electorate had exercised their franchise in polling for the fifth and penultimate phase of West Bengal Assembly election.

The Election Commission also announced the final poll percentage as 81.66 per cent for 53 seats. Hooghly district recorded 82.52 per cent, Kolkata South 65.10 per cent and South 24 Parganas 83.14 per cent.
