After featuring in films like “Lootera” and “Dil Dhadakne Do”, actor Vikrant Massey has now landed the lead role in Konkana Sen Sharma’s directorial debut.

It was when they were shooting for Prakash Jha’s “Lipstick under my Burkha”, that Konkana offered Vikrant a role.

Commenting on the same, Vikrant said in a statement: “It feels great to be a part of this project, The workshops for the same begin early December. I am looking forward to this one.”
Vikrant will play a young Bengali guy in the film which is set in the hinterlands in the late 1970s. A thriller, which will be in a mix of Hindi and English, tells the story of a family from the actor’s perspective.
It’s expected to roll early next year.
