English Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, a three-time Formula One champion, on Sunday won Canadian Grand in Montreal.
Hamilton won the title after a tense strategic battle with Sebastian Vettel’s revived Ferrari.
Hamilton took the chequered flag five seconds ahead of Vettel while Rosberg finished fifth, behind Red Bull’s Dutch teenager Max Verstappen in fourth, after a frustrating afternoon.
Australia’s Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo finished in seventh place.
