Scam-tainted former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi is no stranger to controversies. Nonetheless, he has always been a high profile personality who can count among his friends Bollywood celebs, political stalwarts and business tycoons. Modi took asylum in Britain in 2010 because there was an alleged threat to his life in India.
