ISIS Releases Video Showing Beheading of Alleged Russian Spy | News World India

ISIS has claimed that it has beheaded an alleged Russian spy. According to reports, the killer was a Russian jihadi.

ISIS media office in Raqqa, Syria, released a new video titled “You Shall be Disappointed and Humiliated O Russians,” showing the interrogation and beheading of an alleged Russian spy in Syria.

In the video released by the terror group Wednesday, a captive is seen kneeling in front of another man clutching a knife, The prisoner identifies himself as Magomed Khasiyev and says he’s a Russian national from the Chechen Republic. The captor, who is not masked, speaks in Russian before cutting the prisoner’s throat.

The man, brandishing a knife, says in Russian, “Listen to me, Putin, you dog” and then declares that Russians will be killed in retaliation for its airstrikes in Syria against IS. The man then places his large knife against the prisoner’s throat and appears to begin decapitating him.

The execution would appear to be the first video of a Russian captive being beheaded, and comes on the heels of a Russian bombing campaign in Syria meant to root out ISIS. The executioner in the latest ISIS video says Russian airstrikes “have done nothing but kill peaceful Muslims.”
