Delhi Daredevils on Saturday created hattrick of victories with yet another impressive performance on home turf when they took on defending champions Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League encounter today at Feeroz Shah Kotla.
Delhi Daredevils scored 164/4 while Mumbai Indians scored 154/7 in 20 overs.
After the loss to Kolkata Knight Riders by nine wickets in their tournament opener, the Daredevils bounced back strongly riding on the batting display to comfortably beat Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore in their next two games.
In the first match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Daredevils were shot out for 98 and then went untested in the second game against Kings XI Punjab as the target was a meagre 112.
But in the last game RCB, the 9th season of IPL witnessed its maiden century when South Africa opener Quinton de Kock blazed his way to 108 off just 51 deliveries to guide Rahul Dravid’s men to a seven-wicket win over RCB while chasing an imposing 192-run target.
