Ahead of the International Yoga Day on June 21, Baba Ramdev on Sunday evening kick-started a Yoga camp at Rajpath in New Delhi.
According to reports, 35,000 yoga practitioners along with big wigs like Meenakshi Lekhi, Babul Supriyo, Manoj Tiwari are present at the event.
The event also has a live performance from singer Kailash Kher in the presence of Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
In 2015, June 21st was declared as the international Yoga day by United Nations.
On Sunday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described it as a unique occasion that brings people closer.
“The International Yoga Day is a unique occasion that brings us closer. The invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition,” the Prime Minister said in a video message posted on his Twitter handle.
