Women pilots will soon fly fighter jets of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha said today.
Indian Air Force (IAF) chief Arup Raha on Thursday said that IAF will induct women pilots in fighter stream soon.
Women pilots have been flying transport aircraft and helicopters till now.
“We are now planning to induct them into the fighter stream to meet the aspiration of young women of India,” the IAF chief.
