India bowled out South Africa for 121 runs to take a 213-run first innings lead on Day 2 of the fourth and final cricket Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla here on Friday.

AB de Villiers top scored for South Africa with 42. Spinner Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers, clinching 5/30, as Ravichandran Ashwin and Umesh Yadav also picked two wickets each.

India were bowled out for 334 just after lunch, with Ajinkya Rahane scoring 127 runs while pacer Kyle Abbot had the best figures of 5/40.

In reply, the visitors managed to score 38 runs but lost Dean Elgar (17), who was caught behind.

Ajinkya Rahane scored his first test century on home soil on Friday. This is the first century of the 4-test series between India and South Africa. India resumed their first innings at 231/7 on Day two of the fourth and final test. Rahane was at the crease batting at 89 with Ravichandran Ashwin at 6 at stumps on day 1 at Feroz Shah Kotla.

India logged 231/7 at the end of play on Thursday, the first day of their fourth and final cricket Test against South Africa being held at the Ferozeshah Kotla here.

Earlier, after opting to bat, India captain Virat Kohli and opener Shikhar Dhawan also made significant contributions of 44 and 33k, respectively.

Spinner Dane Piedt was the star bowler for South Africa as he picked up 4/101 while pacer Kyle Abbot scalped 3/23.

India won the toss and decided to bat first in final cricket Test of the four-match series against South africa. Having taken an unassailable 2-0 lead, India will be looking for another facile victory against the Proteas, which will propel them to the second position in the ICC Test rankings.

Umesh Yadav comes in for Amit Mishra for India. They are going with six batsmen, a wicketkeeper, two seamers, two spinners.

Temba Bavuma, Kyle Abbott and Dane Piedt come in for Stiaan van Zyl, Kagiso Rabada and Simon Harmer for South Africa. Bavuma will open the batting.
