As Independence Day is just a day away, the entire nation is preparing to celebrate the 68 years of India’s freedom.
But have you ever imagine how the situation would have been if we were still under the British rule? How would you feel if you have to bow down before outsiders in your own country, who will treat you like slaves? Undoubtedly, the thought would give you goosebumps.

But we are the lucky ones to be born in an independent India, where we are free to do whatever we want. No boundations, no interference…we have every right to raise our voice towards injustice, we are free to go anywhere we want to and most importantly we have democracy.
But have you ever thought of the sacrifices by thousands of freedom fighters because of whom we never had to see a day where ‘Indians And Dogs Not Allowed’ signboard would hang outside a restaurant’s entrance? Aren’t we indebted to those freedom fighters?
