Delhi government proposed ‘odd/even’ number formula for cars to prevent the ‘gas chamber’ like situation in the capital. Under this scheme, cars with odd number plate and even number plate will be allowed to ply on roads only on alternate days.
The proposal has come after the Delhi High Court observed that the current air pollution levels in the national capital have reached “alarming” proportions.
However, this move of the Kejriwal government hasn’t gone well with Twitterati as they mocked the ‘confused’ decision.
