Here’s a news which will bring a smile on faces of all 90s kids. The 1990’s popular cult show ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ is all set to return to the small screens with a new season after almost 15 years. The show is set to make a return to Indian television with a similar concept and new faces as the central characters.

One of the most popular youth-based series of all time, ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ was the launching pad of today’s popular television actors – Kishwer Merchant, Shveta Salve, Shabbir Ahluwalia and Vishal Malhotra among others.

According to a report in leading daily, the new season will deal with issues like the parent-child relationship, teenage love, sexuality and more. The makers are in a stage of finalising lead actors and apparently Anshuman Malhotra, who played the role of young Shahid Kapoor in “Haider”, will be seen in a lead role.

Popular youth show “Hip Hip Hurray” revolved around 12-grade students who dealt with relationships, exam stress, friendship, drug abuse and more.
